Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to various industrial surfaces. This is a skilled position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various painting techniques and equipment. Responsibilities: - Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary - Mix paints and coatings to achieve desired colors and consistency - Apply paint using airless paint spraying equipment, brushes, or rollers - Ensure proper coverage and smooth finish on all painted surfaces - Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times - Maintain painting equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed - Adhere to quality standards and specifications for each project - Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines Qualifications: - Proven experience as an Industrial Painter or similar role - Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials - Familiarity with airless paint spraying equipment - Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint quantities - Ability to read and interpret blueprints or specifications - Experience with machining, crane operation, warehouse work, or construction painting is a plus - Proficient in using hand tools and operating a forklift - Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is preferred Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
